This is a great website and top quality products, the delivery too is outstanding.

Such an array of suitable products, it was hard to choose but we are more than happy with the 3 barstools we bought. Swift dispatch, perfectly wrapped and protected, they are super comfy & they look ace in our new kitchen. I love them. We did have a slight issue with one of the stool's stanchion but this was immediately rectified by Lakeland Furniture with no quibbles. Fantastic service!

Bought a laundry pole which can be easily extended. Very happy with the ease in which I can extend and tighten the pole. Very well made and worth the money. Really good communication from Lakeland re delivery. Very happy to use again .

Repeat purchase of bar stool. Very happy with the product after an initial fault but customer services dealt with my problem very efficiently so would highly recommend.

Bought 2 office chairs which were considerably more expensive elsewhere. The initial order went missing with the courier but Lakeland were quick to reissue the following day. Chairs look great. Would use again!

Excellent! I ordered bar stools; really speedy delivery and great quality, everyone that comes to our house asks where they are from and say they look really expensive, and are very comfortable too. I wanted the black base so contacted customer service and they were excellent.

I purchased 4 bar stools. When they arrived the colour was much darker. The web site stated 30 day refund anyway so I sent an email. I had to chase several times and I just got ignored when I spoke to the customer care team
She didn’t even know what was stated on her site and incorrectly quoted terms and conditions. Her attitude was anything other than helpful. She promised an email back which of course didn’t come
At one point they stated on a email they would organise a refund and delivery if I sent photos. I did that as I hadn’t even unpacked them.
They now state that they do not organise any refund back to the WH so I have paid £60 to courier them back. I await my refund
This has been by far the worse retail experience I have had for many many years and will never again purchase from them

Chair broke within a few months. They replaced it after great effort and loads of pictures. The replacement also broke in another six months but they said it is out of warranty as they count the start from the original item, which is against consumer rights. Clearly items are made to last 6 months only.

I bought a desk chair which was faulty and damaged when delivered. I immediately contacted customer support who were initially apologetic and advised they had sent out replacement parts. As no parts turned up I contacted them again and they said that the replacement parts were also damaged so would offer me a partial refund. No refund ever transpired and after chasing again I was offered an exchange. They refused to exchange the chair asking me to pay for a new chair (they argued their definition of "exchange" was allowing me to send mine back and purchase a new chair without delivery fees!). After over 3 weeks of daily emails back and forth I finally got them to accept a return, at which point they have refused to refund the full purchase price claiming their returns policy allows them to charge £35 fee which they refuse to discuss or reconsider. I have therefore returned a faulty product and Lakeland are refusing to refund in full. Would never ever buy from them again. The tone and attitude of the customer service needs a vast amount of improvement.

I bought a Callard Reception Office chair in November 2020. It was a bit basic but ok. However it has just collapsed under me and hurt my back. It is dangerous and not fit for purpose. Lakeland refused to repair, replace or refund as it was slightly over the 12 month warranty. Shame on you Lakeland.

UPDATE:

Following Lakeland’s reply I re-contacted them as Sam suggested. This was their latest reply:

“ Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

Again we are so very sorry this has happened only a short time outside of your 12 months warranty.

I'm afraid on this occasion no compensation or refund would be due. The order is out of warranty.

Again we are very sorry for this.

Either the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing or they are just playing games on Trustpilot. Either way it’s a very poor reflection on the company. I recommend avoidance.

I ordered 2 office chairs one was in satisfactory condition but the other was badly damaged. I reported the issue and was told that a replacement base would be sent out. I was then told that all bases in stock were damaged and offered a £25 refund to keep the chair which actually cost £140 each. I am now asked dismantle the chair already built and repackaged both items for return and refund but no compensation.

Meant to do this much sooner but keep falling asleep on my super comfortable new suite ( love it ) from Lakeland furniture. After being let down by another major retailer before Christmas and looking at least five weeks waiting by several others, Brian came to my rescue. Had exactly what l had been looking for, same price only far superior quality. I called in on the Saturday, left a deposit Monday with expected delivery two weeks, Brian had it for me on Wednesday, delivery Thursday, nice birthday surprise especially as l had an empty living room for two months. Did free delivery, also evening so l didn't have to take time off work. Scotchgard treated, felt pads fitted on the feet and arrived in a protective padded cover. Also l bought a new mattress and he disposed of my old one free. I have read several reviews for Lakeland and they all say that Brian can't do enough for you, l don't think he could have done any more for me?. It's very rare to come across someone who actually seems to get pleasure from doing his best for his cutomers in providing first class service. Want to say a really big thanks and also wish you Brian your family and all of your team a very Happy and safe New year. Bye for now hope to be back to you in 2022.

Quick and speedy delivery but only order if you are 100% sure that the item you order is as advertised on the website. As per this bizarre companies t&c's, items shown on the website may change due to purchasing from different manufacturers and if you want to return the item due to it not being as advertised you do so at your own cost. Very rude "sales manager" with 0 customer service skills and no telephone communication with the returns department - email only. Disappointed!!
